Item Information
Description
Majolica-style ceramic planter featuring a rich, textured relief-molded floral and web motif. The piece is finished with an exquisite gloss drip glaze that transitions from a vibrant celadon/moss green at the bamboo-molded rim down to a deep, moody eggplant brown at the base. Attributed to Weller Pottery early to mid 1900s. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a gorgeous all-over crazing pattern characteristic of aged majolica glazes. Clean interior and stable structure with minor wear to the base consistent with age and display use.
