Item Information
Description
This is an extremely rare antique Catholic wall crucifix. When closed, a brass scallop shell covers the face of Christ. When flipped open on its top hinge, it unveils the head of Jesus. This is a hand carved cross with cast corpus, INRI plaque, endcaps, and a skull and crossbones at foot. An excellent 19th century oddity. Excellent antique condition.
