A slim band of black grained leather passes through an open rectangular buckle drawn as the house's initial H, its crossbars and side rails forming the letter in silver-tone metal. A prong and punched holes let the fit be set, as on a bridle strap, and a leather keeper holds the tail flat. The strap is blind-stamped HERMES PARIS and the buckle is struck HERMES. The result is a clean, graphic piece that wears easily on its own or stacked with others.
