The reverse is signed LOUIS VUITTON, PARIS and made in France, set diagonally beneath a registered-mark symbol. The rectangular body has softly rounded edges and holds an arched shackle. The lock and its key are both stamped 319, so each carries the same number. Locks like this have long gone with the house's handbags and travel pieces. Made in gold-tone metal, it can fasten a bag's zip pulls or hang as an accent. It also stands well enough on its own as a small signed object from the maison.
