Brand: Gucci Material: Canvas with leather trim Exterior Colour: Beige/tan with brown leather Hardware: Metal plaque on web stripe; leather handles Dimensions: 13.5" W x 15" H x 5.5" D (approx.) Handle Drop: 6" (approx.) This vintage example is constructed from beige canvas reinforced at every stress point with chocolate-brown leather—double handles, piped edges, and corner guards that promise decades of service. The signature green-and-red web stripe, introduced in the 1950s and inspired by the saddle girth, bisects the front in grosgrain; a rectangular metal plaque bearing the Gucci name punctuates the stripe. Inside, a roomy single compartment lined in GG monogram fabric offers a zip pocket for valuables. The silhouette is capacious yet structured, sized to carry everything from market hauls to travel essentials, and the short handle drop suits hand or crook-of-arm carry in the continental manner.
