Item Information
Description
TAntique Victorian platform rocking chair dating back to the late 19th century Eastlake movement. The wooden frame features intricate spool turnings, decorative spindle work, and incised concentric circles along the base. It is a true platform glider that sits firmly on a stationary base, rocking smoothly via the heavy-duty original coiled spring mechanism hidden underneath. The seat, backrest, and armrests are wrapped in a vibrant geometric tapestry fabric. This historic accent chair is equipped with its original front rolling casters, remains structurally sound, and is fully functional for everyday glider use. Very good antique condition
