Each small disc is cut with fine facets that catch the light as the strand moves, so the dark colour reads as glitter at the edges and never as a flat black. The strand closes with a spring ring clasp and a flat end tag stamped K18WG, the marking for 18 karat white gold, and the pale metal of the clasp sets off the dark beads neatly. The pared-back design wears well alone, against an open collar, or layered with finer chains.
