American, circa 1950s–1960s Medium: Brass-plated steel wire, oak/birch bentwood side panels, enameled metal logo emblem. Inscriptions: Authentic "Carter's" script brand logo affixed to the bottom center wire frame. Dimensions: 24" H x 32" W x 10" D Condition: Very good vintage condition. Mild, age-appropriate oxidation and minor pitting to the brass plating; wood side panels show light scuffing and an attractive original finish. Structure is entirely stable and solid. An exceptional mid-century commercial store fixture from the iconic William Carter Company ("Carter's"). This double-sided blonde wood and metal rack utilizes an interior grid network to stage products, backed by a lower row of ball-end display hooks. Retaining its original, iconic cursive logo plaque, this piece functions beautifully as a unique mid-century modern book ledger, towel holder, nursery rack, or standalone industrial advertising statement.
