The body is rendered in the house's signature Macadam-pattern coated canvas—a grid of interlocking C motifs that quietly announced the brand throughout the 1980s and '90s—bordered and reinforced with natural vegetable-tanned leather that frames the silhouette in warm contrast. Twin buckled straps, each stamped with the CÉLINE name in brass, may be adjusted or worn loose over the shoulder; four protective feet anchor the base. Inside, the tan leather lining bears the embossed mark "CÉLINE PARIS MADE IN ITALY," a testament to the era when the French house entrusted much of its leather-goods production to Italian ateliers. The tote's disciplined proportions and double-handle carriage recall an age when luxury meant understatement, craft, and the durability to accompany a career.
