Description
An exceptional piece of Native American wearable art, this vintage Southwestern watch cuff features high-purity sterling silver craftsmanship adorned with genuine red coral. The cuff sections are handmade by renowned Diné (Navajo) silversmith Larry Moses Begay, heavily detailed with his signature cluster layout. Each side panel features a prominent oval red coral cabochon bezel-set within a twisted rope border, surrounded by hand-carved sterling silver leaf applique motifs. The outer edges are framed with a vibrant row of meticulously hand-cut, channel-inlaid red branch coral heishi cylinders. Housed within the artisan cuff is a vintage Caravelle Automatic wristwatch (a classic subsidiary brand of Bulova). The watch features a clean silver-tone dial with raised silvertone indices, a striking orange/red sweep second hand, and a date window. Weight: 44 grams Working condition
