Lot of two (2) high-quality mid-century sterling silver animal statement brooches. Both pieces feature exceptional artisan craftsmanship and distinct vintage styling. Piece 1: Articulated Siam Peacock Brooch (c. 1940s–1960s)A stunning example of collectible Thai souvenir jewelry. This piece features a unique engineered hinge mechanism on the reverse, allowing the central body of the bird to swivel outward for a three-dimensional look. The expansive fan tail is decorated with vivid champlevé enamel work in royal blue, turquoise, and black. Stamped "SIAM STERLING" on the back. Piece 2: Art Deco Style Butterfly BroochA dramatic statement pin featuring large, seamlessly inlaid slabs of polished natural black onyx mapping out the wings. The borders, antennae, and segmented body are densely hand-set with glittering rose-cut marcasite stones. Stamped with a "925" purity mark on the reverse. See photos for measurements. Weight:
