A beautiful, uniform collection of seven (7) hand-thrown studio pottery stoneware bowls, showcasing excellent mid-century modern rustic aesthetics. Each vessel features a classic taper down to a narrow foot ring, balanced by two integrated, low-profile lug or "ear" handles (bols à oreilles) seamlessly molded into the rim.The bowls are finished in a satin matte cream-white glaze. Natural iron pyrites in the rich clay body bleed through during the firing process, producing a highly desirable fine dark speckling throughout. The top rims and outer contours of the handles are left unglazed or treated with an iron-oxide wash, showing off a warm, rustic orange-brown terracotta hue that beautifully frames the silhouette of each piece. Designed to stack neatly into two uniform columns, this collection balances daily utilitarian functionality with the organic warmth of studio ceramics.
