Description
An original, heavily textured mixed media painting on board/canvas by contemporary folk artist Laurie Meseroll. The composition features a whimsical and naive pastoral scene detailing stylized farmhouses, a silo, livestock, and distinct celestial motifs in the sky. Created with the artist's signature technique utilizing dense layers of pigment, wax, and incised scratchwork detailing. Signature: Incised signature "L. Meseroll inc." in the lower left margin. Provenance: Retains original gallery label on reverse from Radclyffe Gallery & Framing (Lahaska, PA). Housed in a dark wood composite frame with a gilt inner lip. Condition: Excellent condition with intentional, artist-created distressing and texture.
