This "Soft Lola" variant is a softly structured, quilted bag crafted from Italian-tanned lambskin, distinct from the classic Lola's more geometric, grid-like pattern; the classic version alternates between cushy quilted sections and flat panels, but the Soft Lola shown here employs continuous horizontal channels that curve gently around the bag's rounded silhouette, yielding a pillow-like texture. Tisci worked with British graphic designer Peter Saville on the TB monogram hardware, which draws from founder Thomas Burberry's initials. The pale-vanilla lambskin and bright yellow lining visible here reflect Tisci's broader palette for the line; hand-painted edges finish each seam, a detail borrowed from the house's leather-goods tradition and one that reinforces the bag's artisanal provenance rather than mass production.
